Editor,
I recommend a couple of very inspirational books, “Bobby Kennedy, a Raging Spirit,” and “Darkest Hour,” about Winston Churchill, in 1940. Also, with the promising senatorial election in Alabama, maybe there is hope for the nation and the world returning to a safer and saner place.
I am personally thankful to Doug Jones, Jon Tester, Kirsten Gillibrand, Jeff Flake, John McCain, Rex Tillerson, and James Mattis. I am not always in agreement with some of the above-mentioned positions and votes they have taken on various issues. I believe they are quite honest and aboveboard.
It is disturbing that a guy from California, who is challenging Jon Tester for his senate seat, seems to have a primary residence, and tax and voting records in California. He has at the same time claimed a Montana residency for his hunting license. Is all of this because he sees opportunistic political fruit in Montana?
There is also the disturbing situation of the new congressman from Montana, and his good friend a Junior from New York City, who have expressed that they have a lot of fun killing prairie dogs. I wonder if they will have the prairie dog pelts and heads on their trophy walls.
In reference to the very alarming political situation, with a crazy fat kid in North Korea, and an ignorant, arrogant, mentally unstable, money grubber, and lying power monger in the White House, the entire world may be in jeopardy. A nuclear war could mean there may be hundreds of thousands, and even hundreds of millions of innocent people killed.
It seems time to express my concern for the alarming political situation that we are all facing.
