Micalann McCrea scored a team high 17 points Dec. 22 as the Ronan Maidens stubbled in a 73-40 loss against visiting Columbia Falls in Northwest A Conference action.


Ronan Chiefs

Ronan Chiefs 59, 

Columbia Falls Wildkats 56 (OT)

The Ronan Chiefs basketball team improved their record to 3-3 with a 59-56 over time road win against Columbia Falls on Dec. 22.

Anthony Camel led the Chiefs with a game high 35 points and Dallas Durheim finished with 10 points.


Polson Pirates

Browning Indians 61, 

Polson Pirates 49

The Pirates couldn’t quite come away with a home win in a 61-49 loss to Browning on Dec. 22.

Shade Main led the Pirates with 14 points, while Connor Lanier and Trevor Schultz added 10 points apiece.


Polson Lady Pirates

Browning Indians 80, 

Polson Lady Pirates 53

Jaycee Frydenlund led the Polson scoring attack with a game high 23 points, however the Lady Pirates fell to visiting Browning 80-53 in Northwest A Conference action on Dec. 22.

Alex Pierre and Quinn Motichka were the next highest Lady Pirate scorers at seven points apiece.


Mission Bulldogs

Mission Bulldogs 69, 

Hot Springs Savage Heat 30

Wacey McClure exploded for a game high 26 points as Mission rolled to a 69-30 home win over Hot Springs on Dec. 22.

Jacob Hugs added 12 points for the Bulldogs.


Mission Lady 

Mission Lady Bulldog 54, 

Hot Springs Lady Savage Heat 53

The Mission girls’ basketball team held off late rallies from Hot Springs and slipped past visiting Lady Savage Heat for a 54-53 win on Dec. 22. 

Karolyna Buck led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points and Afton Brander
