News from Joel Nelson, Land Solutions, LLC

POLSON — The Lake County Growth Policy rewrite can be viewed at: https://www.planlakecounty.com/.

Land Solutions has completed the second draft rewrite of the Lake County Growth Policy.

A meeting of the Lake County Planning Board will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Lake County Courthouse, large conference room. This board’s focus is the county jurisdictional area outside the municipalities and Polson area. (The Polson City Planning Board will have met on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 6 p.m.)

After consideration of the recommendations and suggestions, the boards will consider whether to adopt the proposed growth policy, not adopt the proposed growth policy, or take some other action. The draft growth policy is proposed to replace the 2003 Lake County Growth Policy and the 1993 Polson Master Plan for their respective jurisdictional areas.  Please use the link on the website to view the “Draft 2 Lake County Growth Policy, Jan. 2018” and if you have comments, please attend the public hearing or go to: “contacts” on the website, call 406-261-3021 or email: joel.landsolutions@blackfoot.net.

Thank you for your past and continued interest and participation.
