POLSON — Fordyce Dale Erickson, Sr., 84, of Ronan, passed away on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at his residence after a brief illness.
Dale was born on Nov. 13, 1933, in Kalispell to Hessie and Fred Erickson, Sr. Throughout his childhood, Dale lived in many locations. He worked an assortment of jobs but finally ended up retiring from Western Bee Supplies, Inc. in Polson after 22 years.
On Dec. 30, 1994, he married Vicki Rogers and lived with her until his death.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sr. and Hessie; a brother, Fred Jr.; and his father in-law, Christian Berger. Survivors include his wife, Vicki at the family home; his children, daughter Rhonda (Terry) of Kansas City, Missouri, daughter, Vicki of Garland of Texas, son, Fordyce Jr. (LaRese) of Polson, son, Michael (Lorrie) of Polson, daughter, Tammie Farley (Eric) of Polson; stepson, Shawn Rogers (Melissa) of Polson, stepson, Darrel Rogers (Deana) of Polson, stepdaughter, Michaele May (Brian) of Omaha, Nebraska, stepson, Wayne Rogers (Val) of Polson, and stepson, Gene Rogers of Florence, Oregon. Dale is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Betty Erickson, and several nieces and a nephew.
