POLSON — Roland D. Arneson, passed away suddenly on Feb. 8, 2018. He turned 85 on the Feb. 5.
Roland was the oldest brother to Ione (Al) Schraw, Donnalee Splettstaszer, Karol (Will) Thompson and Rob (Patsy) Arneson. Roland was father to Dan (Rose) Arneson, Teresa (Peter) Ofner, and Rocky (Amber) Arneson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Roland worked at the Plum Creek Lumber Company in Pablo, as a planer man beginning in 1958.
R C model planes were his hobby and his passion. He built planes, flew them and taught many people to fly them.
Roland lived his entire adult life in Polson and had many friends and he will be missed by many.
