Thank you to Cesar Hernandez for your letter “Gun violence must be addressed,” published Feb. 28. I was pleased to read the opinion of someone who is a gun owner, pro- 2nd amendment, and also had very common sense solutions for our gun violence problem. I agree with all of your ideas. People are dying needlessly, and we should do something constructive about it, instead of just yelling across the political aisle. It would also be nice if we could have a civil and respectful dialogue about potential solutions in the meantime.
