ST. IGNATIUS — St. Ignatius High School will host their annual career day on Thursday, April 12, from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with keynote speaker Angela McLean, Director of American Indian Minority Achievement and K-12 partnerships. She is also a former lieutenant governor.
Students will rotate through workshops practicing future employment skills such as: problem solving, creativity, team building and communication skills. They will learn about schooling and training options after high school as well as discuss global issues and how their future careers might impact those problems.
In the afternoon students will select from a variety of career speakers to learn more about a career in those areas they are interested in. Some of the areas offered include: robotics; computer coding; environmental and health careers; welding; airlines; and future career opportunities in the county, state and tribe.
