Judge Sharon Richardson dealt with the following cases during April:
Cathy Jasso, 48, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license (never possessed a license). She was found guilty, sentenced to six month in jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs. She was also ordered to pay $12.18 in restitution. Also, Jasso pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and find $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Additionally, Jasso pleaded guilty to careless driving. She was found guilty and fined $30 plus $35 in court costs.
She was also ordered to pay $12.18 in restitution on all three counts.
Thomas Wayne Mitchell, 42, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle on highway. He was found guilty and fined $100 with all suspended. Also, Mitchell pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Aaron Bakula, 29, pleaded guilty to theft, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended, and fined $25 plus $85 in court costs. Two more days will be suspended if Bakula has no more violations before Oct. 18.
Marci Jore, 30, pleaded guilty to failing to surrender out-of-state driver’s license. She was found guilty and fined $200 plus $35 in court costs. She also pleaded guilty to false reports to law enforcement authorities. She was found guilty and fined $50 plus $85 in court costs.
The following people forfeited a $50 bond for speeding, driving 1-10 mph over the posted speed limit, in lieu of appearing before the judge:
Danette Scolatti, 53; Joyce Starkel, 64; Pamela Parsons, 53; Pamela Nelson, 54; Jessica Anderson, 29; Robert Kingstad, 30; Pandora Beatty, 39; Cassidy Johnson, 25; Linda Howell, 53; Richard Kostecki, 50; Noel William, 66; Jeffrey Schultz, 46; Scott Nicholson, 50.
The following people forfeited a $75 bond for speeding, driving 11-20 mph over the posted speed limit, in lieu of appearing before the judge:
Brett Pierce, 46; James Martinson, 59; David Meyer, 47; Marisa Wininger, 22; Victor Puckett, 30; Robert Coffman, 53; Brett Diede, 35; Donald Ostrander, 39; Melanie Mauro, 25; Raymond Linnell, 49; David Pinnell, 59; Erin Griffin, 47; Robert Sprague, 47; Amanda Otten, 18; Helen Pilling, 53; Dina Patsiavos, 31; Makena Johnson, 18. Johnson also forfeited a $50 bond for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister, and was charged an additional $35 in court costs.
The following people forfeited a $100 bond for speeding, driving 21-30 mph over the posted speed limit, in lieu of appearing before the judge:
Leonard Prescott III, 63; Jon England, 40; Catherine Adams, 41; Travis Jordan, 28.
