Editor,
I am a retired police officer from the once great state of California. Injured on the job, I was retired early and launched a career in the hospitality industry that had me directing three corporations before retirement in 2011.
Folks, people is who I managed my entire career…. from the cross section of society most good people don’t know (criminals) to the best trained in business and business law.
Like all of us, we look for the best money can buy. I’m throwing my blue chips for the two men that I’ve had the pleasure to know with experience money can’t buy, but a vote can.
Paul Laisey for Polson Rural Fire Department Trustee, who came out of his deserved retirement from Missoula as Chief to head up the Polson Rural Fire Department for almost two years and brought real experience that all the fighters could learn from.
The second is David Coffman for sherriff. He’s a man that I’ve had the pleasure to know long before he decided to run for sheriff. Here’s another position where you want the best qualified in this daily changing world. Coffman has more exemplified training and experience than any three candidates put together from any past elections.
Paul Laisey and David Coffman are the best men for the job and for the people.
Let common sense be your guide. Respectfully submitted.
