Editor,
The Port Polson Players opened the Broadway musical “My Fair Lady” last night in the historic theater on the lake.
This show is community theater at its very best. Neal and Karen Lewing have again gathered local people and produced a charming spectacular.
It was a privilege to have been part of the preparatory backstage crew, and join the dozens of talented people in the cast, all volunteering to bring this show to life. We are so fortunate that the Lewings have dedicated their careers to live theater in our Mission Valley. They take a building, fill it with folks who are willing to spend time rehearsing, and bring drama, music, color and joy to audiences.
I urge you to bring your family and friends to see it before it closes next weekend, May 11-13.
