Free concert a great community event

I want to express the pleasure shared by my husband, toddler son, and myself when we attended the Flathead Reservation and Lake County Boys and Girls Club free concert, “The Bus Driver” tour, last Wednesday evening. There was a good crowd in attendance.
I have lived in Ronan on or off for almost 20 years, and there were faces there I had never seen before. I feel our community is missing something like this that brings us out and together more often to enjoy music and each other. Our son is exploring and was walking about approaching and touching people sitting in their chairs, and everyone was so welcoming and polite to him. The women who were dancing brought good energy to the crowd, and at the end, numerous couples got up and danced in front of the stage.
We are thankful to all of the sponsors who made this event happen for the community as well as the Boys and Girls Club. I hope that good donations were made to the club and I hope that community organizers can find a way to continue this type of activity in the park. We appreciate a family-friendly, alcohol-free, safe event for all to attend and enjoy.
