Lake County Sheriff Don Bell released the name of the woman killed in a one-vehicle rollover as 30-year-old Tania Oldhorn.

The incident occurred on May 8 east of U.S. Highway 93 between Ronan and St. Ignatius. Oldhorn’s hometown is listed as Missoula, but she has family in Ronan.

The Montana Highway Patrol said speed might have been a factor. The vehicle Oldhorn occupied was northbound on Hillside Road, near Two Creek Lane, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a fence and tree. It is unknown at this time who was driving. Oldhorn was ejected and died at the scene.

The vehicle came to rest on its wheels in the ditch. A male occupant of the vehicle suffered serious but unspecified injuries and was transported to St. Luke Community Healthcare hospital in Ronan.

The accident is still under investigation.
