Jacqueline Brown

POLSON — Jacqueline (Jackie) Conklin Brown went to be with her Lord and her daughter, Dawn, on Dec. 30, 2019. Have a wonderful eternal life with friends and family.

Jackie was born on Jan. 20, 1942, to Jack and Margie Fogland in Grand Island, Nebraska. She grew up and went to school in Fort Collins, Colorado. She had three sisters: Jodi, Judi and Jinx.

In 1961 she married Laverne Conklin and they had five children. They moved from Colorado to Ronan in 1974. She worked for Moody’s Market and then Woody’s Big Sky Supply.

In 1985 she moved back to Colorado and married William (Bill) Brown. With this marriage she acquired two step-children. In 1994 they moved back to Polson and she worked at Woody’s and McDonald’s.

Jackie had an amazing smile and the best hugs. She was a strong, amazing woman with a heart for God and enjoyed spreading her loving spirit ministering with ancient paths. She had a passion for flowers and her gardens showed this. She was a creative person and enjoyed making gifts for others.

Jackie was most proud of her children and grandchildren: Dawn (Chris) Schultz, Tawni, and Chris Jr.; Jay (Janna) Conklin, Jeremy, Jacob, Justin, and Jonathan; Gene (Joell) Conklin, Lyndsie (Josh), Lukas, Lawson; Dyan (Mark) Fiorentino, and Bryce; Lynn (Angela) Conklin, Logan and Lauren; and her step-children: Machell (Kirk) Kempema, Kayla, and Kylie; Lonnie (Denise) Brown, Beau, Blake, and Blain; and adopted daughter, Verna (Chris) Conklin; and her great-grandchildren: Hunter and Makinzi.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to cover end of life costs. Memories and condolences may be sent to the family at: www.shriderthompson.com.
