Boys Basketball

Arlee Warriors

The Arlee Warriors got a huge 32-point effort from Cody Tanner and 19 points from Billy Fisher in a 77-72 home loss on Friday evening against the Mission Bulldogs. On Saturday night, Tanner scored 19 points and Tapit Haynes added 13 for Arlee. Against the Florence Falcons, the Warriors were outscored 14-7 in the second quarter in a 62-51 home conference loss. 

Mission Bulldogs

Isaiah Nasewytewa scored a Mission team-high 18 points and Jedi Christy chipped in with 11 points as the Bulldogs fell at home to Florence 99-57 on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Against Arlee, the Mission Bulldogs defeated Arlee 77-72 on the road. Zoran LaFrombois scored a team-high 25 points, and Nasewytewa scored 14 points.

Polson Pirates

On Friday, the Hamilton Broncs outlasted the visiting Polson Pirates 60-56. In a Northwestern A matchup Saturday, the Pirates outscored the visiting Columbia Falls Wildcats 70-53. Scoring a game-high 12 points, Ryker Wenderoth paced the Pirates, and Trevor Lake chipped in with 10 points.

Charlo Vikings

On Saturday, Brayton Zempel led the Charlo Vikings with 10 points in a 75-46 home loss to the Darby Tigers.

Ronan Chiefs

Down by 10 points at the half, the Ronan Chief outscored the Whitefish Bulldogs 31-19 in the second half to take a 54-51 road win on Tuesday, Feb 4. Girma Detwiler was the top scorer for the Chiefs with 16 points followed by Elijah Tonasket who scored 12 points. 

 

Girls Basketball

Arlee Scarlets 

Arlee Scarlet Jerny Crawford scored a team-high eight points in a 59-29 home loss to the Florence Lady Falcons on Saturday evening.

Mission Lady Bulldogs

Azia Umphrey sank a 3-point game-winning buzzer-beater on Thursday evening, giving the Lady Bulldogs a 53-50 home game win over the Florence Lady Falcons. Umphrey led all scorers with a game-high 25 points. Karolyna Buck scored seven points on the night pushing her prep career total over the 500 points scored mark. On the road Friday, Umphrey eclipsed a 500 career points mark with a team-high 19 points to help the Lady Bulldogs win 68-28 over the Arlee Scarlets. Fellow Lady Bulldog Karolyna Buck scored 12 points.

Two Eagle River Lady Eagles

The Two Eagle River Lady Eagles fell 74-40 to the visiting St. Regis Lady Tigers on Saturday evening. Cealana Shepherd finished with a season-and team-high 22 points for the Lady Eagles.

Polson Lady Pirates

In a Class A matchup against visiting Hamilton Lady Broncs, Jazlyn Dalbey paced the Lady Pirates with eight points in a 46-20 loss on Friday night. Ilysia Adams, Alexia Kienitz and Mossy Kauley each scored a Polson Lady Pirates team-high two points in a 66-7 game against the Columbia Falls Wildkats on Saturday.

Charlo Lady Vikings

Carlee Fryberger’s 18 points led the way Saturday as the Charlo Lady Vikings defeated the Darby Lady Tigers 57-30 in Charlo and remained undefeated on the season. Also, for the Lady Viking Liev Smith scored 13 points.

Ronan Maidens

The Ronan Maidens slipped past the visiting Whitefish Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday, Feb. 4, with a 41-35 win in Northwest A action.
