Editor,
To the friends of the Bread Basket: thank you; thank you; thank you. Thanks to all the wonderfully caring people and businesses of our community who have made such a difference. May each and every one of you have the spirit of the season, which is peace; the gladness of the season, which is hope; the heart of the season, which is love; and may your future be bright with blessings for a most prosperous New Year ahead.
Generous financial help and hundreds of pounds of food have come into the Bread Basket in the last month and a half. Overcoming hard times, people have given from their hearts to help the Bread Basket. The Town Pump goal for our communities was reached, and the future looks so much brighter for our doors to remain open. God has touched the hearts of many people in our community, and eagerly they came forward to help feed their needy neighbors.
Thanks again, as our shelves of food are being replenished and we will have a good start on our staples for the new year of 2012.
Sharing with others the plentiful harvest given us at the Bread Basket is such a blessing.
God bless you, love you and keep you through this Christmas season and always.
