Attention Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribal members: you signed a poll, and now the Bureau of Indian Affairs needs the proper document to continue with your request. Your $150 million settlement petitions will be available Friday, Aug. 24, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., in each district at your tribal community center. Volunteers will need to see your tribal ID.
Remember, no one may interfere with your right to sign this petition. If anyone threatens you in any way, be sure to advise the volunteer, who will advise the proper authorities immediately.
If you believe in receiving all of the $150 million settlement, it is necessary that you sign this petition. You spoke, and the People’s Voice has listened.
