ST. IGNATIUS — The Mission Lady Bulldogs defeated the Ronan Maidens in three games (25-18, 25-16, 25-13) at home last Thursday.

Head Coach Kendal Anderson thought her team did well at the net but were too hesitant when it came to off the net play.

“We weren’t talking, we let too many balls drop,” Anderson said. “But I thought serving was good and so was net play.”

Overall the Lady Bulldogs racked up 24 kills. Sara Nerby and Jennifer Larsson had six kills apiece. Loren Erickson had three of the seven team aces and 13 of the 21 assists. There were 36 digs in the three games. Stephanie Lewandowski had nine and Sydney Allard had six.

Head Coach Marly Tanner thought the Lady Maidens’ communication improved from previous games.

“Movement, talking and overall hustle was a lot better,” Tanner said. “Everybody on the team is stepping up, from the starters to the bench.”

Courtney Clairmont had 14 digs and Ashleigh Lynch and Alaina Madsen had two kills apiece. Overall the team tallied six aces and one block.
