Vicki Lynn Rogers
RONAN — Vicki Lynn Rogers, a passionate Beatles fanatic, went to her “Strawberry Fields Forever” surrounded by family as well as “The Fab Four,” on Friday, July 31. As she took her broken wings and learned to fly, she was accompanied on her journey by a band of angels that included: her parents, Raymond and Margaret Indermeuhle; her aunt, Illene Armstrong; Emmanuel and Marie Rogers; Allen Rogers; Little Buddha and her two sons, Glenn Raymond and Mark Lee James.
“Eight Days a Week,” she pursued her passion of giving “Help!” to students within the Ronan School District for more than 20 years. In addition to being a crusader for students, she has also been a true champion and cheerleader for her entire extended family. Throughout her life, she loved them all - and she had so much love to give.
She found the one whose hand she wanted to hold forever and married her true love, Glenn Rogers, on May 16, 1970. It seems like it was only “Yesterday” that she was able to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary that had the entire town of Ronan “Come Together” in celebration.
She leaves behind her husband, Glenn; her children, Todd, Tammy and Chauncey Husted; her two “Little Darling” granddaughters, Ella-Lynn and Grace-Marie; and numerous loving nieces and nephews … and of course … Bella The Cat.
As a family, we are all truly blessed that she chose us to ride with her on this “Yellow Submarine.”
Vicki’s love and joy was steadfast with family, friends, and faith. She firmly believed that in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you create.
Services have been held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Vicki’s honor to the Ronan Library or the Ninepipes Museum - two of her favorite organizations.
