RONAN — The Lady Bulldogs continued their winning ways last week, defeating the Ronan Maidens 11-0 on the road. Once again the girls got the job done quickly, this time in five innings, despite getting just four hits.
The previous week, the Lady Bulldogs took out the Deer Lodge Lady Wardens 15-5 in six innings due to the 10-run margin rule.
St. Ignatius’ Emily Gillingham was one for three with a double and two RBIs.
Teammate Kinley Pope also doubled, and Alyssa Doty and Janeal McDonald added singles to the mix.
Pitcher Loren Erickson also stepped up, allowing just four hits and striking out four.
The Maidens’ Amber Quequesah led her team with a single (1-1, 1-2).
Next the Lady Bulldogs will take on Thompson Falls April 14 at home.
