Arlee Warriors
The Arlee Warriors moved to a 1-2 overall record on the season Friday evening with a 76-36 road loss to the St. Regis Tigers.
Charlo Vikings
Coyle Nagy threw two touchdown passes and ran for another to help the Charlo Vikings ease past the Plains Horsemen 50-0 Friday in Charlo. Nagy had 9 of 16 passing for 116 yards and carried the ball 10 times for 44 yards. Roper Edwards had seven catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns. The play-of-the-game came in the second quarter when Philip Marquez snagged a Horseman pass and ran it back for a 77-yard interception touchdown.
Mission Bulldogs
On the road, Friday evening, the Mission Bulldogs and the Clark Fork Mountain Cats lit up the scoreboard for a combined 142 points. The Mountain Cats prevailed 74-68.
For the Bulldogs, Charlie Adams had two kickoffs of 60 and 76 yards for touchdowns and a 3-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Kellen McClure threw four touchdowns to three different Bulldog receivers.
Polson Pirates
The Polson Pirates slipped by the Browning Indians on Friday night with an 18-12 road win. Quarterback Jarrett Wilson had 28 of 45 passing for 297 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Jonny Perez scored two touchdowns on 14 catches for 162 yards.
Ronan Chiefs
The visiting Libby Loggers toppled the Ronan Chiefs 30-14 in a Northwestern A Conference matchup Friday night.
Volleyball
Polson Lady Pirates
On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the Polson Lady Pirates fell 3-2 (25-18, 17-25, 21-25, 25-15, 10-15)
to the visiting Whitefish Lady Bulldogs. Maggie Todd led Polson with two aces, 20 kills and 13 digs. Hallie Moss had 25 assists and 14 digs. Berkley Ellis had 17 assists and 12 digs.
The Lady Pirates earned a 25-20, 25-20, 25-13 conference win in their match against the visiting Browning Lady Indians on Friday evening. Todd led the way with 15 kills, seven digs and two blocks for Polson. Moss had four aces and 14 assists. Ara Mercer had seven digs.

In a cross county contest, the Mission Lady Bulldogs fell 25-7, 25-17, 25-15 to the hosting Ronan Maidens on Tuesday, Sept. 8. On Thursday, the Lady Bulldog stumbled on the road in Eureka 25-16, 25-9, 25-18 to the Lady Lions. The Lady Bulldogs bounced back on Saturday with a 25-22, 25-21, 17-25, 25-15 home win over the visiting Troy Lady Trojans.
Arlee Scarlets
Jerny Crawford paced the Arlee Scarlets with an ace, six kills, a block, two assists and eight digs on Tuesday, Sept. 8, against the hosting Florence Lady Falcons. Florence defeated the Scarlets in three straight sets 25-15, 25-13, 25-18. On Wednesday, Scarlet Xaria Jacobson had two aces, five assists and six digs in a 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-14) road loss to the Missoula Loyola Breakers. Crawford recorded eight kills and eight digs.

The Charlo Lady Vikings volleyball team stayed undefeated on the season 6-0 with an on-the-road three-set sweep (25-11, 25-17, 25-9) against the Plains Trotters. Senior Conner Fryberger paced the Lady Vikings on Saturday with 19 assists, 10 digs and three aces as the Lady Vikings defeated the visiting Hot Springs Lady Savage Heat 3-1 (25-14, 22-25, 25-18. 25-15). Kassidi Cox had 18 kills and three aces. Carlee Fryberger had 15 kills and 10 digs. Also for the Lady Vikings, Molly Kate Sullivan recorded eight digs and three aces.
Golf
During the Cabinet View Invitational in Libby on Friday, Lady Pirate Ellie Thiel fired an 83 to win by six strokes over Ronan Maiden Macao Jackson. The Maiden girls won the team title with a score of 401.
On the boys side, the Polson Pirates finished second in the team standings, while Ronan’s Ruben Couture shot a third-place 86 helping the Chiefs team to a fourth-place finish.
