By Jo Cheff, executive director of Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana
Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana would like to thank Humanities Montana and the National Endowment for the Humanities for funding us through a Humanities Montana CARES Act grant awarded in August of 2020.
We are deeply grateful for these funds, which have helped us reach out virtually to our members and donors and visitors who have not been able to travel this year.
COVID-19 has brought a lot of challenges to our community. Through the Humanities Montana CARES Act grant we are still building connections and bringing a bit of the museum to the public through stories, photos and updates with e-blasts, our website and social media.
We are grateful for the help of Humanities Montana, and we are hearing from our members, donors and visitors that providing this link has been a true gift, especially now.
Ninepipes Museum is open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 19 and by appointment. Outreach is more important than ever, and we want to show our appreciation to Humanities Montana and the NEH for helping us continue to connect.
