RONAN — Lake County Conservation District celebrated pollinator week with a new event we co-hosted with Ronan Cooperative Brewery called the “Chalk Walk.” This was Ronan’s first ever chalk walk and we were beyond impressed with all of the beautiful chalk art that was decorating downtown Ronan’s sidewalks. This year’s theme was “Bees & Blooms!”
A pollinator themed street party kicked off Friday night where everyone could submit their votes for their favorite chalk art. There was live music, food, crafts for the kiddos, and, of course, beer from the Ronan Cooperative Brewery! We had lots of fun and hope to make this event happen yearly.
