The Polson volleyball team won a conference match against Columbia Falls at home Sept. 11 before traveling to Frenchtown Thursday for another victory.
Against C-Falls, Heidi Rausch and Jessica Hoel had 16 and nine kills, respectively, helping the Lady Pirates to their first conference win.
In Polson’s second conference matchup, the Lady Pirates won a hard-fought battle with the Frenchtown Lady Broncs.
“In the end, the Lady Pirates worked together, and played as a team to add another win to their season,” said coach Jan Toth. “Through this week, the girls showed a lot of promise for the post season; the Lady Pirates are also fortunate enough to have great talent within the practice room to help them prepare for such demanding weeks such as this.”
