Justice of the Peace Ann Marie McNeel dealt with the following cases Sept. 7-20:
Jason Robert Degler, 25, pleaded no contest to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 suspended, and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs. He received credit for two days served. Degler also pleaded no contest to possessing intoxicating substances while under age 21, second offense. He was fined $200 plus $85 in court costs. Degler also pleaded no contest to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, first offense. He was fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Skyler Matthew Knutson, 23, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. he was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 170 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Richard A. Boggess, 45, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. In a plea agreement, he was fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Tatonkaska Howard, 37, pleaded no contest to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
Christopher Lawrence Curry, 41, pleaded not guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, seven suspended, and fiend $500 plus $35 in court costs. He received credit for three days served.
Ryan Lee Pollock, 31, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and fined $200 plus $35 in court costs.
Eric Charles Ebinger, 49, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. Ebinger also pleaded guilty to speeding, traveling 60 miles per hour in a 50-mph zone. He was found guilty and fined $55 plus $35 in court costs.
Leonard Ronnie Lahaye, 37, was found guilty of driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
He was also found guilty of a seatbelt violation and fined $20.
Brian D. Henson, 33, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $215 plus $35 in court costs.
Misty Rose Terry, 24, pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, second offense. She was found guilty and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs.
