POLSON — National Aeronautics and Space Administration has selected S&K Global Solutions, LLC. of Polson to consolidate contractor support into an integrated infrastructure approach for the Engineering Directorate at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
The three-year, cost-plus fixed-fee and firm-fixed contract begins October 18 and includes a single two-year option. Work worth as much as $50 million may be authorized during the potential five-year duration of the contract.
Under the contract, S&K Global Solutions will provide computer support and application services to coordinate information technology needs, web-based applications and information sites to efficiently generate and disseminate directorate products. The firm also will provide strategic planning and process improvements to optimize the creation, assessment and integration of directorate products. S&K Global Solutions also will perform configuration management and project facilitation tasks to document, track and control directorate products.
Subcontractors working on the contract include Booz Allen Hamilton of McLean, Va. and S&K Aerospace, LLC., St. Ignatius.
S&K Global Solutions, LLC and S&K Aerospace, LLC are both subsidiaries of S&K Technologies, Inc., a federally chartered corporation owned by the Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Nation. The company is headquartered on the Flathead Reservation in St. Ignatius and has multiple operating locations throughout the United States, as well as a fully registered operating location in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
