“Soups On” is a Polson-operated free lunch program for all who need or wish our service.
Planned and implemented over three years ago at Journey Be church on Seventh Avenue West, Soups On serves approximately 60 persons, Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Soups on” is a non-denominational program that receives no funding with the exception of the diners who choose to place what they can in the jar.
Recently, a new organization, Sun Burst, has planted and maintained a lush garden of vegetables and herbs at Journey Be. Many times, the soups have been prepared solely from the garden’s bounty.
At this point, we are seeking volunteers, male and female, to join the happy environment in which we serve. Staffers are requiring time off, now and then, which leaves us short-staffed. There are numerous jobs/chores from which to choose. We can work within your schedule. You choose the hours or days you would like to work.
