LAKE COUNTY — On March 14, Mission Valley Elks Lodge 1695, Polson, presented grant checks to two local fire departments totaling over $3,000 dollars as the result of grant requests from the Montana State Elks Associations Major Project “Aid to Rural Volunteer Fire Departments.”
Checks were presented to Fire Chief Clint Cottle of the Polson Fire Department in the amount of $1,482 dollars and to Fire Chief Chris Adler of the Ronan Fire Department in the amount of $1,590 dollars. Checks were presented by Mission Valley Elks Lodge 1695 Exalted Ruler Justin Kalmbach. Grants to be used to aid in the purchase of much needed emergency equipment.
