Recently, I was awarded a grant from the Montana Arts Council to attend an intensive theater and dance workshop in San Francisco, Cali., with the Joe Goode Performance Group. This opportunity provided me with techniques, tools and many connections that will enhance my teaching and choreography skills. We live in an area that at times makes us feel isolated and stagnant even though we are surrounded by beauty. I am excited to utilize what I learned as we begin the new school year. We have so many creative individuals in this valley, and I hope to help them expose their talents, both children and adults.
We must not let our isolation keep us from growing. Thank you to the Montana Arts Council.
