Editor,

My recent mailbox brought a letter from Jana Taylor requesting participation in a survey. Maybe Taylor thinks we are all Republicans. The contents were so skewed that the first thing that came to mind was - is this is an audition for a comic strip? Upon further perusal it turned out not to be, but close. Who does not want lower taxes asks Taylor? This is an outrageous inquiry from Taylor, along with hubby Mike, who took huge amounts of money ($100,000 per year for 10 years year - 1995 - 2010 for a total of $1,069,921.97) for not growing crops on her Twin Creek ranch in Winnet, Mont., Petroleum County) and gets an agriculture reduction on the taxes on their cherry orchard in Rollins. As was asked several times by this writer, “… will all folks in the district she wishes to represent who make $100,000 a year for doing nothing please stand up? No takers so far. In a recent letter to the editor, Taylor wrote that she hates federal programs. Of course she does now that the farm subsidies have run out. Please, folks, we are much more intelligent than to swallow this stuff. Taylor’s thinking that we get our gas from Canada was really funny – she said in her column that we could all “…just drive up there ‘cuz it’s closer.”  Closer than, say, Saudi Arabia? In closing, the survey was not only incorrect, it was poorly written.  Taylor you termed out in the House. Get over it.
