William Harvey Flesch

PABLO — William Harvey Flesch, born in Great Falls on April 24, 1964, went home with the Lord at the age of 48.

Bill is survived by his four sons, Billy Flesch of Kalispell, Curtis (Rachel) Flesch of Belgrade and Derek Flesch and Steven Flesch of Pablo; his mother Judy Powell of Arizona; father Bill (Joan) Flesch of Great Falls; sister Stacy (Rick) Anderson of Butte; brother Scott (Rhonda) Higgins of Sacramento, Calif.; Cindy Standbrook; Jimmy and Hallie Hendrickson of Ronan; Bud and Shyla Collicott of Pablo.

Bill moved to Pablo, where he built his foundation. He was a successful mechanic and owner of Mission Transmission and a proud father, raising his family in front of the beautiful Mission Mountains. Bill was the true definition of what it meant to be a “working man.” He had rough creased hands and dirty, oily Dickies after a long day of work, but he was the type of guy that didn’t think about how the job needed to get done; he would just do it. He had this smile, but merely a smirk, that he only gave if something really excited him, and the things that would bring out the smirk were when he was the happiest. He loved riding snowmobiles with his boys through the Jocko and letting the track spit up the white powder up in Boulder. He loved the sound of the racecars starting their engines before a race and stood up and let his voice be heard as they made their final lap. He loved taking the boat out on Flathead Lake and cranking up his favorite tunes like “Mountain Music” by Alabama. He loved living life on the edge. He was an adrenaline junkie and wouldn’t have it any other way except searching for a bigger rush in life. He will always be remembered as a working man and a proud father. Bill made his final lap, and this time were all standing and watching him make it to the finish line. You made it home, dad, ‘05 will always stay alive.

Funeral arrangements to be announced. In lieu of flowers, an account to help Bill’s son Steven Flesch complete his education has been set up at Valley Bank.
