ARLEE – Mixed media artist Sean Parson is the featured artist at the new exhibit opening Oct. 3 at the Arlee Community Development Corporation. Parson works with materials usually found at his job site as a tile installer, including natural stone and various types of tiles and other materials. The Arlee native draws on his scenic surroundings in the Jocko Valley for inspiration for both his visual art and his music.
“We love offering new exhibits to showcase different artists and types of artwork,” said Marie Hirsch, executive director of the Arlee CDC. “We invite everyone to come and see Sean’s work and the other works in our most recent exhibit. There’s so much talent in this area, and we’re glad we have the gallery space to provide a showcase and a gathering spot for artists and people who love art.”
The public is invited to view the new exhibit and meet Sean Parson at an open house on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome.
