As a registered Republican, I thank Carol C. for her excellent letter defaming those Democrats. She, like Janna in the same issue, points out the importance of the first amendment, although I think Carol missed the part where it also protects the government from religious intrusion.
Besides mentioning their Democratic evil on a national level by their turning down of a perfectly unbiased bill from the House regarding abortion issues, I think perhaps she missed some of the other evil things those Democrats did; like saying they would listen to a guest high school speaker in Ronan — and take notes. Obviously that kind of attitude clearly forced the principal’s hand and necessitated his cancelling the speech at the last minute.
For Janna, we must forgive her ahead of time, since I assume we will see her soon speak out strongly against Whitefish’s ordinance 7-3-4 which prohibits threatening, profane, abusive, disorderly, insulting or indecent language in any park or public grounds, which in turn supports those Democrats. I am not sure those Democrats know any other kind of speech. Thank God us Republicans can recognize that kind of talk and don’t talk like that.
