Naming 400 Horses Casino:
In January 2025 a platform was created to engage the community and beyond in submitting ideas and reasoning for a new proposed casino name. The winner – Robert H. provided recommendation of 400 Horses Casino. Chief Alexander, who was directly responsible for the forming of the Confederated Salish Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) was also known as ‘No Horses’ a humble name taken as an opposite to the reality of a person’s possessions. No Horses was said to be very wealthy at the end of his life and owned around 400 horses.
