City releases road reconstruction announcement
News release from the City of Polson
POLSON — The City of Polson will begin the next phase of road reconstruction along 1st Street West, from the intersection with US-93 to 3rd Ave. West.
The Prime Contractor, JAG Construction, will mobilize on Friday, April 11, to:
— Set up traffic control measures
— Prepare a staging area
Starting Tuesday, April 15, 1st Street West will be closed to all traffic between US-93 and 3rd Ave. West. The project is expected to take 5 to 6 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Detour routes will be posted, and we ask that all motorists use caution in the area and follow all signage.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve our community’s infrastructure.
