News from St. Luke Community Healthcare

ST. IGNATIUS — St. Luke Community Healthcare is proud to host the 42nd Annual Buffalo Run on Saturday, July 12, 2025, as part of the St. Ignatius Good Old Days celebration. This long-standing community tradition invites runners and walkers of all ages to participate in a 1-mile fun run, 4-mile run, or 7-mile run, all beginning at 8 a.m. in front of Gamble’s Hardware, 112 N. Main Street, St. Ignatius.

With more than four decades of history, the Buffalo Run has become a signature event in the Mission Valley — offering breathtaking views, friendly competition, and a strong sense of community. Proceeds from this year’s race will benefit the St. Ignatius Chamber of Commerce, helping support local programs and community development efforts.

Registration fees are $18 for the 1-mile run, ($20 after July 9); $20 for the 4-mile run, ($25 after July 9); and $20 for the 7-mile run, ($25 after July 9).

Family rates are available for groups of 4–8 registrants. T-shirts are available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participants are encouraged to register online by July 9 to take advantage of early registration rates. Same-day registration will be available until 7:30 a.m. on race day; however, T-shirt availability and official timing cannot be guaranteed for late registrants. Registration will begin at 6:30 a.m. on the morning of the race and close at 7:45 a.m. to allow time for all runners to line up and start promptly at 8 a.m. Please visit: https://stlukehealthcare.org/buffalo-run/ to learn more and to register and call 406- 528-5262 with any questions. Join St. Luke and the town of St. Ignatius in celebrating this event — a spirited tradition that brings people together for fun, fitness, and community support.
