Judge Ann Marie McNeel dealt with the following cases Nov. 16-21:
Francis James Tenas, 58, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Tenas also pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Brian Edward Winters, 26, pleaded guilty to the amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Winters also pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Sammy Dee Wright Jr., 19, pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Wright also pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of .02 percent BAC under 21 years of age, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
Theodore Todd Morigeau, 24, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail, 89 suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.
Joshua James Gallant, 35, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $500 plus $85 in court costs.
Lawrence Leroy Galloway, 71, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.
Tashiana Elida Schlensker, 18, pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to five days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Schlensker also pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. She was found guilty, sentenced to five days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Justin H. Freeman, 24, forfeited a $20 bond for a seatbelt violation.
Cindy Rae Berger, 53, forfeited a $30 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 60 miles per hour in a 45-mph zone.
Dakota Cruz Clairmont, 20, forfeited a $20 bond for a seatbelt violation.
Julaine Kay Schlegel, 44, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding, traveling 75 miles per hour in a 65-mph zone.
Robert Craig Holman, 64, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for operating a vehicle which has not been properly registered.
Cheryl Lee Richmond, 67, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.
Stacie Shreeve Weller, 46, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding, traveling 89 miles per hour in a 70-mph zone.
Jeff G. Jarecke, 49, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding, traveling 78 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone.
Lasanthe Irene Burland, 29, forfeited a $20 bond for a seatbelt violation.
Robert Francis Burke, 80, forfeited a $20 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 60 miles per hour in a 50-mph zone.
Robert Lee Whotaker Jr., 49, forfeited a $20 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 60 miles per hour in a 50-mph zone.
Richard Leroy Orden, 51, pleaded guilty to false reports to law enforcement authorities (to implicate another, false incident, etc.). He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended. Orden received credit for two days served.
Brion C. Martin, 40, forfeited a $100 bond plus $35 in court costs for a violation of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks orders or rules.
