Judge C.B. McNeil dealt with the following cases Wednesday, Dec. 5:

Randall Stevens, 18, Ronan, had his sentence for felony burglary deferred for three years, but was ordered to serve 30 days in Lake County Jail within 60 days of his court date. Stevens was also ordered to pay $295 restitution to the victim of the offense.

According to court documents, charges stem from a June 18 incident where Stevens and an accomplice are shown on a security tape at the Second Chance Saloon in Ronan rifling through the liquor at the bar and selecting bottles. Both Stevens and his accomplice admitted to breaking into the bar through the window and stealing liquor. The value of the stolen liquor was $275.75, and the damage to the window was $20.

Doreen Johnston-Knoll, 43, Missoula, had her sentence for felony theft deferred for three years. Restitution has been paid and a 10-day jail sentence is imposed but suspended on the condition there be no probation violations.

According to court documents, Johnston-Knoll allegedly made unauthorized withdrawals totaling $3,253.72 from the Arlee PTO account at Valley Bank in Arlee between June 2010 and July 2011.

Phyllis Crumley-Fairbanks, 50, Ronan, pleaded not guilty to two counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, both felonies.

An omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 and a jury trial is set to begin Monday, April 1, 2013. Both begin at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, charges stem from an Oct. 27 incident where tribal police officers stopped a vehicle that was reported stolen. The driver, Crumley-Fairbanks, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and was eventually arrested for DUI. While searching her, officers found a plastic bag containing what tested to be methamphetamine and half a pill of Suboxone, a controlled substance. Crumley-Fairbanks said she did not have a prescription for the pill, but that a friend had given it to her.
