I’m very offended on the choice of words that Michael Gale is constantly writing in his letters about my tribe and people. I’d appreciate it if you would publish this letter to inform him, from a member of this tribe, that a majority of Lake County and its towns and communities are inside the boundaries of the Flathead Indian Reservation. We natives here are never going to go away. We’re always going to be here, no matter what anyone says or does.
In his past letters, (Gale) claims he is not full of hate or a racist. His words in his recent letters are so full of hate and offend a majority of my people. You are in the Flathead Indian Reservation; love or leave it. And if you respect us, we will respect you.
