Mission seniors postpone annual meeting to Friday

ST. IGNATIUS —The annual meeting of the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center was cancelled last Friday because of inclement weather. The center will hold the annual meeting on Friday, Jan. 18. The meeting, which will include reports and elections, will begin at noon with the luncheon.
Jerry Powell won the quilt raffle. Ayleen’s Thursday Quilters, as a fundraiser for the center, made the quilt.
Activities for the rest of January:
Ayleen’s Quilters quilt in the center most Thursdays.
•Wednesday, Jan. 16: roast pork dinner, 5:30 p.m.
•Thursday, Jan. 17: quilters
•Friday, Jan. 18: board of directors meeting, 10 a.m., taco casserole lunch, annual meeting, noon
•Tuesday, Jan. 22: ham and potatoes lunch
•Thursday, Jan. 24: quilters
•Friday, Jan. 25: Salisbury steak lunch
•Tuesday, Jan. 29: soup an•d sandwiches lunch
•Thursday, Jan. 31: quilters
Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
