Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases Jan. 18-24:
Bryan V. Beebe, 52, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of disorderly conduct. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $50 plus $85 in court costs.
Marisa Rochelle Grasser, 54, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to two days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. She also pleaded guilty to a traffic violation and was fined $85.
Clinton James Chowning, 42, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 35 miles per hour in a 15-mph zone.
Nicholas Mckenzie Andrews, 20, pleaded not guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18), first offense. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
Joshuah David Gowen, 33, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for improper passing in a no-passing zone.
Mariah Eileen Armstrong, 21, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. She was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
Kathryn A. Karlberg, 62, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding, traveling 80 miles per hour in a 70-mph zone.
