Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases Feb. 1-7:
Kassandra J. Mock, 20, pleaded guilty to theft, first offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $85 in court costs. She received credit for two days served.
Ronald Cummings, 41, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 174 suspended, and fined $35 in court costs. He received credit for one day served.
Renee A. Shaffer, 22, was found guilty of violating a vicious dog control ordinance and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
Phillip Marlow Thelen, 34, pleaded not guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. He was found guilty and fined $200 plus $35 in court costs. Thelen also pleaded not guilty to speeding, traveling 67 miles per hour in a 50-mph zone. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
Joshua Charles Markovich, 22, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 164 suspended. He received credit for 16 days served.
Jonah Dean Bergman, 20, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding, traveling 80 miles per hour in a 60-mph zone.
Mike J. Meeker, 36, forfeited a $100 bond plus $35 in court costs for attempting to hunt, trap or possess a game animal without a license.
Maurice Francis Morin, 79, forfeited a $20 bond for a seatbelt violation.
Cecil Charles Odland, 66, forfeited a $20 bond for a seatbelt violation.
Ernest Jay Wiggin, 51, forfeited a $20 bond for a seatbelt violation.
Peggy Jean Whary, 48, forfeited a $30 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 60 miles per hour in a 45-mph zone.
Nathan Scott Tubbs, 33, forfeited a $100 bond plus $35 in court costs for a load not secured.
