Rep. Janna Taylor (R, Dayton) is to be commended for work she has done to protect Flathead Lake from invasive species. Regarding her overall environmental record however, (Valley Journal, March 28, 2012), during the 2011 legislative session, Rep. Taylor was given a 0 percent approval rating on environmental issues by Montana’s leading environmental group, the Montana Environmental Information Center, and a 0 percent rating by the Montana Conservation Voters. In the 2009 legislative session, she was given a 10 percent approval rating by MEIC and a 0 percent rating by MLCV.
