Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases from Jan. 27-Feb. 2:

Ignacio Garjbay Martinez, 49, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.

Daniel James O’Roake, 23, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.

Amanda Ashley Moss, 24, pleaded not guilty to speeding on non-interstate, traveling 96 mph in a 70-mph zone. She was found guilty and fined $70. Moss also pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of reckless driving, first offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail, 89 suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.

Michael Shane Smith, 20, pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

 

William Arthur Harris, 45, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.

 

Marion Arthur Burnside, 32, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.

Danella Rae White, 21, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. She was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs. White also pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. White also pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Jimmy G. Graham, 54, pleaded guilty to speeding, traveling 74 mph in a 45-mph zone. He was found guilty and fined $70 plus $35 in court costs. Graham also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. If he provides proof of six months continuous insurance by Nov. 5, fines will be reduced by $10 and jail time waived.

Danielle Sloan, 40, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Mark Roger Cheff, 43, pleaded not guilty to failure to stop for a school bus stopped to load or unload schoolchildren. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Stacy Jeanne Buller, 21, pleaded guilty to violation of basic rule, reasonable and prudent, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $85 plus $35 in court costs. Buller also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, eight suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. If she provides proof of six months continuous insurance, jail time will be waived.

Gerald C. Gunn, 54, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, eight suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. If he provides proof of six months continuous insurance, jail time will be waived.

Brian M. Wollam, 32, pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, eight suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. If he provides proof of six months continuous insurance, jail time will be waived.

Glenn Jerry Reum, 57, pleaded guilty to obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
