Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases Oct. 14-20:

Jeana Stratton Dunlap, 48, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving. She was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs. Dunlap also pleaded not guilty to operating with expired registration. She was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Tasheena Renee Mitchell, 24, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent or greater, first offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs. Mitchell also pleaded not guilty to failure to stop immediately at accident scene, injured person. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $200 plus $35 in court costs.

Brian David Randall, 26, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.

Darby Lyn Stryker, 37, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, third or subsequent offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended, and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs. Stryker provided proof of insurance and served two days in jail, and unless she provides proof of six months’ continuous insurance, she will serve three more days.

Casey Craig Cooper, 33, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs. Cooper received credit for one day in jail. Cooper also pleaded not guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. The sentences are to run consecutively.

Kyle A. Johnson, 25, pleaded not guilty to unlawful transactions with children, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $150 plus $85 in court costs.

Donald Arthur Hossack, 64, pleaded guilty to reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Montanna Irene Smith, 19, pleaded guilty to careless driving. She was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. Smith also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Verla May Smith, 43, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Miranda Louise Luttrell, 28, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Michael Leslie Thompson, 56, pleaded guilty to improper passing in a no-passing zone. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. 

Christopher Dean Scott, 19, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs.

Tiffany M. Abrahams, 19, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
