Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases April 29 - May 12:
Candace Marie Myers, 25, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, second offense. She was found guilty and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs.
Jennifer Marie Windon, 20, pleaded guilty to obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $200 plus $85 in court costs. Windon also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 173 days suspended, and fiend $600 plus $85 in court costs.
Bridget L. Garrison, 33, pleaded not guilty to failing to carry proof if insurance in vehicle, third or subsequent offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended, and fined $500 plus $35 in court costs.
Dave Eugene Peavler, 49, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 suspended. His jail time was completed May 12. Peavler was also fined $600 plus $85 in court costs.
Shelisha Irene Palmer, 20, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended, and fined $400 plus $35 in court costs. If she can provide proof of insurance on a vehicle in her name and proof of six months continuous coverage by June 10, jail time will be reduced to two days and the fine reduced by $100.
Frederick Keoki Hamilton, 45, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended. Hamilton was also fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.
Earleen T. King, 61, pleaded not guilty to selling or providing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years old. She was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $200 plus $35 in court costs.
Christy Lyne Urban, 25, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license, expired more than 180 days. She was found guilty and fined $200 plus $35 in court costs.
Patrick Curtis Fifield, 33, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs.
Jimmy Hugh Best, 34, pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, second offense. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with 8 days suspended, fined $350, and charged $35 in court costs. If Best can provide proof of six months continuous insurance by Oct. 27, jail time will be waived and the fine reduced by $100.
Best also pleaded guilty to speeding. He was found guilty and fined $70 plus $35 in court costs.
Manuel Edgar Aguiluz-Rivas, 47, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
