RONAN —Big Productions, a fundraising venture of the Lake County Youth Home, brings the Makem and Spain Brothers to the Ronan Performing Arts Center on Monday, March 25, for a 7:30 p.m. concert of Irish folk music. This concert is excitedly co-sponsored by Bishop Insurance.

A host of various instruments and four male vocals, using precise three-part harmonies blend perfectly for what many have described as a wall of sound. The Makem and Spain Brothers are at their best on stage where their talent and enthusiasm draw in fans that have never experienced the joy of folk music.

The Makem and Spain Brothers’ Mission Valley performance would not be possible without the dedicated local series sponsors and their donations, which are crucial to the event’s success. The series is made possible in part by the Montana Performing Arts Consortium Presenter Development Program, which is supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Montana Arts Council and a legislative grant from Montana’s Cultural Trust.

Single tickets are available for only $12 ($14 at the door).  Remember, 18 and under are free for “Series concerts,” thanks to the Youth Home, but children 11 years old and under need to be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.

Tickets are available from Shannon Nunlist Physical Therapy, first driveway on the right, southbound from the junction of Highways 35 and 93); The Terrace, 308 Main in Polson; or from Hanson and Granley True Value Hardware in Ronan. You can also get tickets by emailing cmc@ronan.net or calling (800) 823-4386.
