Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases March 18-22:

Devin Shae Neely, 21, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent or greater, second offense. He was found guilty and in a plea agreement was sentenced to 360 days in jail, 355 suspended, and fined $600 plus $85 in court costs. The five days of jail time must be served by June 30.

Darcy Spoklie Nordhagen, 56, forfeited a $60 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 70 miles per hour in a 45-mph zone.

Sawyer Rose Runkel, 20, forfeited a $20 bond for a seatbelt violation.  

Matthew Tyler Vlastelica, 21, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding. He also was found guilty of owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. He was sentenced to five days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Vlastelica must obey all laws for six months or he will have to serve the five days.

Nathan Eldon Umphrey, 31, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for failure to obey red (stop) traffic signal.

David Philip Surdock, 42, forfeited a $20 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 65 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone.

Randy C. Kline, 22, pleaded guilty to unlawful transactions with children, first violation. He was found guilty and fined $250 plus $85 in court costs. Kline also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, nine suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs. One day of jail must be completed within 90 days of sentencing. Kline must also attend ACT class and watch the “Enduring Regret” video.

Bryan J. Carr, 58, forfeited a $65 bond plus $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. 

Micheal Lee Colvin, 55, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for driving on other than right-hand roadway of divided highway.
