On Thursday, April 14, the Big Arm Association provided a full house to listen to Lake County Sheriff’s deputy Kim Leibenguth speak. Her topic was Neighborhood Watch. We are very interested in the formation of a neighborhood watch group to inform the residents about potential acts of violence. She talked a little about local crime and what we can do to prepare our community to watch for problems and to alert the residents so we can keep crime to a minimum. Many folks asked questions and there was good discussion about how best to link each of us with the local group and then with the community wide group. We would like to extend our appreciation to deputy Kim for her help and guidance.
