LAKE COUNTY — The Flathead Joint Board of Control would like to announce the irrigator candidates running for FJBC Commissioners: Flathead district #2 - Wayne Blevins, Flathead district #4 - Shane Orien and Susan Lake, Mission district # 3 - Walt Schock, Jerome Laskody, Jocko district #3 - D. Boone Cole. The Lake County election office will handle the election. It is a mail in ballot and all ballots must be received to the election office by 8 p.m. on the voting Election Day, May 7, 2013. The irrigators who are elected as commissioners will take office at the May 13 meeting of the FJBC. At this meeting the commissioners will vote for district officers, FJBC officers and commissioner at large. The FJBC is taking names of irrigators who would like to hold the commissioner at large position at this time, by calling the FJBC office at (406) 745-2090.
