POLSON — The Flathead Joint Board of Control would like to announce the irrigator candidates running for FJBC Commissioners: Flathead District #2: Wayne Blevins; Flathead District #4: Shane Orien and Susan Lake; Mission District # 3: Walt Schock and Jerome Laskody; Jocko District #3: D. Boone Cole.
The Lake County Election Office will handle this election. It is a mail-in ballot. All ballots must be received to the election office by 8 p.m. on May 7, 2013 of the voting Election Day. The irrigators who are voted in as commissioners will take office at the May 13, 2013 meeting of the FJBC.
At that meeting, the commissioners will vote for district officers, FJBC officers and a Commissioner At Large. The FJBC is taking names of irrigators who would like to hold the Commissioner At Large position at this time. If interested please call the FJBC Office at (406) 745-2090.
The Commissioner At Large will be voted in at the May 13 meeting of the FJBC and take their place on the board at that time.
